Enchiferno Clutch!

Ever since I first saw an enchi inferno combo it's been a goal of mine to make one. I produced my first one a couple of weeks ago and here he is.

It was a great clutch with other amazing combos in it including a pair of pastel yb enchis. I'll post pics of the clutch soon.

I am so happy with coming across the GHI project in '07...what a lucky find! The GHIs are one of my favorite morphs and the colors they have into adulthood are incredible. Here's a photo of an 1800 gram female pastel GHI...look at those colors! The pastel coloring is awesome for an adult ball and the silver flames are just intense. I've never seen ball pythons change color from day to night like GHIs do. They are just an all around great morph to have!

Here's a shot of two male hidden gene woma enchis I hatched recently. The colors on them are amazing already and it's gonna be great watching them gain the enchi coloring!

Inferno x Enchi babies

Well my most anticipated clutch of the season so far has hatched. I bred an inferno (hidden gene woma/pastel/granite/yellow belly) to an enchi and got 7 eggs. The final results are 2.0 hidden gene woma enchis, 0.2 pastel enchis, 0.1 hidden gene woma granite enchi, 0.1 pastel granite, and one normal. It's a great result and I am looking forward to the next clutch of eggs hatching from the same male to another enchi female! Here are a few photos of babies right out of the eggs.

Spring Breeding

It's been a busy season here and there's lots of updates. I've added some really cool morphs to the collection and babies are growing quickly :D

The GHI project is coming along nicely. I don't believe this season will yeild any recessive GHI combos but I might have a small shot at an albino GHI if the odds work in my favor. My GHI het. ghost bred three different female ghosts but only a couple of times each so there was no real follicle development. The same story with my GHI het albino...a small amount of breeding but a female he bred has 25mm follicles so she's my hopeful animal. I am hopeful that a few new GHI combos will be made and if I get eggs from the pairings I will post away.

I have eggs cooking from Inferno x enchi which is exciting for me because I love enchi and enchi combos. An enchiferno isn't too much to ask for is it??? My Pro Exotics desert has been doing a great job breeding and I've got a 14 egg clutch cooking from him now and more females who have gone through their POS's that should be dropping soon. Yesterday I put up a clutch from hidden gene woma/granite/pastel x yellow belly so maybe an inferno will be in there if i'm lucky. I also have eggs from a super enchi lesser and enchi lesser x super pastel and that's a really cool clutch to be sitting on. No GHI eggs so far :( but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I couldn't be happier with what's been going on in the last year and everything has worked out just like I have wanted it to ;)

Back in the swing of things

The site has been down for awhile and there are some changes here. I have had a great time with the arboreals over the years and right now I am settling in with the ball pythons and having fun with them. I have decided to put the arboreals aside for the time being and hope to be working with them again someday. It's so enjoyable working with ball pythons that I have decided to focus all of my attention on them. I had a great 2010 season with both atb's and ball pythons and hopefully I will have the same success in 2011. Enjoy the new site and keep checking back for updates.
